Ombre powder brows are a semi-permanent cosmetic treatment that uses a soft shading technique to create a gradient effect, with lighter fronts and gradually darker tails. This method gives the appearance of softly filled-in brows, similar to makeup, and can be customised for a subtle or more defined finish. A fine tattooing machine is used to layer pigment into the skin, following the natural brow shape to enhance fullness, symmetry, and overall definition.
This treatment is ideal for those who prefer a polished brow look with minimal daily effort. Ombre brows typically last 1–3 years, depending on skin type and lifestyle, with a recommended colour boost every 12–18 months to maintain their shape and colour. Once healed, the result is beautifully soft and natural-looking brows that frame the face and simplify your beauty routine.
Everyone’s skin and body heals differently and this will vary for each client. However in general terms, brows will last 1 to 2 years, all permanent make up requires maintenance as the colour will need to be refreshed roughly every 12-18 months.
I prefer to use hybrid pigments, a mixture of organic and inorganic, wherever possible as they fade from the skin in the most natural way. Ensuring that a client can refresh their PMU and achieve the best results time and again.
Pain is relative for each individual, the vast majority of clients describe the pain as irritating and a little uncomfortable. Permanent make-up is a form of tattoo and though we try to make our clients feel as comfortable as possible, it is not painless and some discomfort is to be expected.
If you know you are pain sensitive, you can take paracetamol prior to treatment and I would recommend you schedule your appointment outside of your monthly cycle as this can impact sensitivity.
This varies based on each procedure and will be discussed with you in advance of your treatment.
Your initial brow treatment generally takes the longest and we ask clients to allow 3 hours for good measure. A large chunk of this is for the treatment preparation, including mapping and pre-draw.
When your booking is confirmed you will receive an email with all relevant pre-procedural advice, specific to the treatment you have booked.
It’s recommended you work to get your skin in the best possible condition prior to the treatment, exfoliate the skin well and ensure it is well moisturised with no open wounds or abrasions present near the treatment area.
There is a ÂŁ50 non refundable booking fee required to confirm your appointment that must be cleared and will be deducted from the total cost of the treatment.
On the day of the treatment cash or bank transfer is accepted for the remaining amount (payable in advance of the procedure starting).
